MC TRUCK DRIVER – POSITION VACANT

We are looking for MC & HR drivers to join the DSS team for either the dry season or on a permanent basis. DSS specialise in remote transport across the Kimberley and beyond, freighting general, chiller/freezer, bulk fuel, and oversize machinery to some of the state’s most remote locations. Vehicle and heavy recoveries also make up a large proportion of what we do in the dry season.

Must have:

• Be a team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Understand load restraint requirements and prestart checks
• Strong safety awareness
• Be willing to learn
• Be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
• Hold a current MC or HR license
• Hold a current Commercial Drivers Medical
• Be physically fit

Desirable:

• Understanding of remote work
• Understanding of basic mechanics
• Ability to think outside the box and problem solve
• Experience in complex loading
